This NEVER happens to me, I swear. I've been sick (no, not The Flu, and yes, I will spare you the details.) So I decided not to go to class last night. I e-mailed my teacher to let her know.
Late that evening, as I was starting to feel like being productive, I checked my e-mail. Lo and behold, my professor had canceled class altogether! I can only assume she wasn't well either, as she's not the capricious type. All assignments postponed one week. One less session of frustration.
In my elation, I think I experienced a little tiny bit of what the water main break must have felt like for my students. And instead of starting my paper, I whipped up a frittata and put on a movie!
